The BATS are a long established amateur theatrical group based out of Bexhill-on-Sea, East Sussex. Established in 1935, the group has staged over 200 productions since then, featuring a mix of theatrical standards to modern classics and more unusual productions.
We typically stage 6 plays each year. This includes an annual Lent play, as well as our always-popular open-air Shakespeare productions, staged in the beautiful surroundings of the Manor Gardens each Summer. In addition to our stage productions, BATS organises regular social evenings and other activities.
With a mix of young and young-at-heart members, The BATS is the place for anyone with a love of the theater.
